Fort Western Donates Montana Silversmiths Sculpture to Rescue Ranch

Fort Western Stores donated a Montana Silversmiths Steve Miller sculpture to the Sacred Grounds Rescue Ranch. The sculpture will be auctioned off at their bi-annual fundraiser taking place on July 23, 2011.

The Sacred Grounds Rescue Ranch is a horse rescue located in Wikieup, Arizona. Their mission is to take in abused and neglected horses in order to bring back their health and spirit. Once the horses are returned to normal health they are trained and located to new, loving homes.

Each year the Sacred Grounds Rescue Ranch holds a fundraiser on their property. The event is highlighted by meet & greets with the horses, supper, live entertainment, a raffle, and the charity auction. Sponsors donate auction items with all proceeds going to support the Sacred Grounds Rescue Ranch.

One lucky auction winner will take home the "Highest Price For Beef" western sculpture from the Steve Miller Signature collection by Montana Silversmiths. Measuring at 10 inches tall, the sculpture's unique cold cast process creates rich-looking bronze details. The sculpture is precisely cast and hand painted with careful attention to applied patinas-- bringing life-like touches to the finely detailed creation.
