Fort Western Stores Donates Gifts to Kids in Crisis

This last Christmas, Fort Western Stores was cordially invited to take part in the CEDARS Youth Services mission to provide gifts to kids in crisis. CEDARS Youth Services held their "9th Annual Country Christmas" on December 9th, 2009 in Lincoln, Nebraska at Uncle Ron's. Fort Western Stores gladly supported the cause by donating western wear, toys, footwear and more to the CEDARS kids — valuing around $1500.

Founded in 1947, CEDARS Youth Services center provides overnight care for neglected and abused children. A 24 hour emergency shelter, foster care and youth homes are just a few of the services CEDARS Youth Services provides. Thanks to sponsor's support, around 3,560 children were safe and cared for in 2009.

To become a sponsor you can contact CEDARS Youth Services at (402)434-KIDS or by emailing http://www.blogger.com/info@cedars-kids.org.
