When you go to buy your Stetson® or Resistol® hat, take a moment to consider the crease styles available. While there are many creases available, two common creases are the Cattleman and the Montana.

The Cattleman crease is typically worn by men, and is found to favor people with wider faces and a square jaw. The Montana is named for the fact that it was created on a Montana ranch, and adopted by cowboys across the state. It features a high crown to help trap air above the head to keep cowboys warm on those colder nights. You can also find the Montana Crease referred to as the Gus, because of Robert Duvall's characterization of Gus in the Lonesome Dove miniseries.
From Stetson® you can choose from available fur felt hats that are rated 3X and higher, and if you are looking at Resistol® you can choose from felt hats rated 4X and higher. Bison felt and wool hats are excluded from this offer.
