Montana Silversmiths Sculpture Serves as Prize for SFHA Annual Poker Ride

Fort Western Stores is sending a Montana Silversmiths sculpture to the Sierra Foothills Horseman's Association to be given away as a prize for the annual All Breed Fall Poker Trail Ride. The event begins at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at the Spenceville Wildlife Area north of Lincoln, CA.

Participants will enjoy the trails while building their poker hands at stops throughout the ride. At the end of the ride everyone's hands are compared and the top hands go home with prizes.

One lucky hand winner will take home the "When Beef Was Wild" western sculpture from the Steve Miller Signature collection by Montana Silversmiths. Measuring at 11 inches tall, the sculpture's unique cold cast process creates rich-looking bronze details. The sculpture is precisely cast and hand painted with careful attention to applied patinas-- bringing life-like touches to the finely detailed creation.

The Fort wishes all of the riders good luck, and a safe, enjoyable trail ride.
